Non-ammonolysis synthesis and characterisation of environmentally benign yellow pigments based on calcium–tantalum perovskite oxynitrides

چکیده
Calcium–tantalum based perovskite oxynitrides were successfully prepared without ammonolysis. The colour of La 3+ -doped CaTa(O,N) 3 was comparable to that CaTaO 2 N by ammonolysis and inorganic yellow pigments using heavy metals.

15 صفحه اولAn Efficient and Environmentally Benign Chemical Synthesis of Testolactone
Testolactone was obtained commercially by microbial transformation of either testosterone or progesterone and also synthetically, albeit in low yield. The only chemical synthesis of 1 so far described in the literature starting from dehydroepiandrosterone (2) is shown in Scheme 1. The strategy followed in this synthetic approach consisted in the initial formation of the lactone ring by a Baeyer...
متن کاملSubextensive entropies and open order in perovskite oxynitrides.
Unusual subextensive configurational entropies that vary with particle size and tend to zero per atom in macroscopic samples are predicted for AMO(3-z)N(z) oxynitrides with perovskite type crystal structures. These materials are crystallographically disordered on the atomic scale, but local anion order produces chains of M-N-M bonds that undergo a 90° turn at each M cation, giving rise to subex...
متن کامل5-sulfosalicylic acid as an efficient organocatalyst for environmentally benign synthesis of 2-substituted benzimidazoles
A water soluble, Bronsted acid, 5-sulfosalicylic acid as an efficient organocatalyst was used for the synthesis of physiologically active 2-substituted benzimidazole derivatives from o-phenylenediamine and aromatic aldehydes in ethanol at reflux condition. Cost-effectiveness, use of non-hazardous solvents, metal free and commercially available catalyst, single-step, environmentally fri...
متن کاملSynthesis and characterization of red pearlescent pigments based on muscovite and zirconia-nanoencapsulated hematite
Applications of mica-based pearlescent pigments are related to plastics, cosmetics, automobiles coatings among others, but they seem to be not explored by the ceramic industry. In this work, intensively red and gold colored muscovite pigments covered with layer of nanoparticles containing iron and zirconium oxides were prepared by homogeneous precipitation. The final color was obtained after th...
